A Christian community training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, boxing and striking, to the glory of King Jesus.
Crossroads exists to build a community where hard training and real faith sharpen each other. We train hard and we train honestly, believing our bodies, our minds and our skills belong to the King who bought them.
Whether you've never set foot on a mat or you've been competing for years, you'll find experienced coaches, structured curricula, and training partners who actually care about your progress — both as an athlete and as a person.
We welcome everyone. You don't need to share our faith to train here. You just need to show up, work hard, and respect the people on either side of you.
Our identity, ethics, and reason for existing all run through King Jesus.
Programs for kids, youth and adults, and a culture where parents train alongside their children.
A real curriculum, qualified instructors, and skills that build on each other. Not just an hour of sweating.
As a dedicated student of Crossroads Martial Arts, I will strive to develop strength in my body, knowledge in my mind, and discipline in my spirit. I promise to treat my teammates and teachers with respect and love, be slow to anger and quick to forgive. Above all, I will seek to follow the commands of my Creator and pursue the life of a Dragon Slayer.
Roll on the mats, sharpen your hands, or build a complete game. Every class runs at several levels, so beginners and competitors train in the same room without either being held back.
The gentle art. Leverage, technique, and timing on the ground. Gi and no-gi, suitable for total beginners through competitors. Classes for kids, youth, and adults.
The full toolkit. Strike, clinch, takedown and submit, put together into one game. Taught by UFC veteran Chad Laprise in a no-gi format with live training. Prior experience required. This is a serious class for serious students.
Footwork, head movement and clean punching, with conditioning that builds a gas tank and the confidence to use it. Beginners welcome. We will meet you where you are.
Kicks, knees, elbows, and clinch work. A complete standup game that pairs naturally with our BJJ and MMA programs.
Between them our coaches have decades on the mats across grappling, mixed martial arts and boxing, and the same commitment to the people they train.

Chad leads Thursday no-gi jiu-jitsu. It is a serious class for students who already have some experience, drawing on more than a decade competing at the top of the sport. A vocal follower of Christ, his nickname “The Disciple” is no accident.

Brandon leads our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and striking programs, including our youth Dragon Slayers program. His classes pair technical precision with the heart of a coach who cares about his students inside and outside the gym.

Gary heads the boxing program. Expect the fundamentals taught patiently and clearly: footwork, distance and clean technique, built from the ground up.
Below is the week as it runs once we begin — Monday to Saturday. Visitors are welcome to drop in; get in touch first and we will tell you what to expect.
All classes start Monday, September 14.
Starting: All classes start the week of September 14 — kids classes on Tuesday the 15th.
* Weekday attendance is required for the Saturday Kids & Youth Rolling class, and previous grappling experience for Thursday No-Gi MMA.
Snapshots from classes, seminars, and the community we’re building. Drop us a line if you want to come visit a session in person.

Your first classes cost nothing — come train and see if it is for you.
If you stay, we ask you to prayerfully consider a suggested monthly honorarium of $20 a month for each person training — the same for adults and children, with no family cap.
It is a suggestion, never an invoice. It helps cover rent, equipment and uniforms, and if the amount is not realistic for your family, talk to us and we will find something that works. Nobody is ever turned away over money.
You can give by card from your member account, or by cash or e-transfer to giving@crossroadsingersoll.ca with a note: “Crossroads Martial Arts.”
One honest note for tax time: the honorarium is not a charitable donation and is not tax receipted. Gifts beyond it are.
Yes. We carry our own insurance, so everyone signs the Crossroads liability waiver before their first class on the mat. It is done online from your account when you register and takes a couple of minutes. A parent or guardian signs for anyone under 18.
If you trained with us when we were under Karate for Christ, their form does not cover training here any more — we will ask you to sign ours once. Sorry for asking twice.
No. Crossroads Martial Arts is a Christian ministry and you will see that in how we run things. The Dragon Slayer and Junior Dragon Slayer programs include a short Bible lesson and prayer, and adult classes open and close with prayer. We welcome students from every background, including those who do not share our faith. You do not need to believe what we believe to be respected here.
Come ready to learn, and come clean. A few practical things:
· Shower beforehand, and keep fingernails and toenails trimmed
· Wear a clean uniform, or athletic clothes with an undershirt or rashguard
· Bring flip-flops or shoes for off the mat, which keeps the mats clean
· Bring a water bottle
· Respect your instructors, classmates and training partners. Safety first, fun close behind
This is a contact sport, so mouthguards and groin protectors are optional but strongly recommended.
We ask that parents stay on the premises during class. Partly for emergencies, whether that is a scraped elbow or an urgent washroom trip for one of the youngest students, and partly because watching your child train is one of the best parts of it. You will see what they are learning, you can reinforce it at home, and you can step in if they need a quick reset. If your child is having a hard day and becoming a distraction, take your shoes off, come onto the mats and pull them aside for a breather before they rejoin.
Registration is online. Find the class in the schedule above and use its Register link — you will make a quick account, sign the waiver, and a coach confirms your place.
If a class is full, registering adds you to the waitlist instead — nobody loses their place by asking — and we email you the moment a spot opens up.
Fill out the form and we’ll get back to you within 24–48 hours to set up a visit or answer any questions you have.
